AO Day 3 - Showtime
All day, till 9:30pm, I was floating around the table making sure that the various groups of 4-5 learned something....
I think the major thing I got from this, other than learning that AO demonstrator intimately, was that there is a really significant difference between book knowledge and intimate practical understanding. These are all PhD's or near that and all have had a few to several optics courses. But actually aligning a system is something different than remembering the lensmakers equation. Everyone commented afterward that they had a new-found appreciation for the engineers and opticians that build things.

We all then went out to the 'red room' and ended up hanging out till 3ish. Good, tired, times.
