The flower carpet
In the main square, there's a huge flower-carpet display. I went into one of the really old buildings that had been turned into a museum and went out to the balcony to do "my-thang" - pics n timelapse. It was really fun to watch people for a few hours. When you're sitting in one place for a really long time, you become intimate with it - who stays, who goes, what kind of people walk by, that kind of thing. Lots of old people were walking around, and I saw a little scramble between two old frenchish women over who would get to buy the purple flowers. It was really funny.
