Hanauma Locals

There's tons of birds in Hawaii. But the most common ones are chickens and zebra doves. Go figure. Here's some of the squad that attacked the granola at Hanauma. First off we have Gumpy. He's got a broken knee. His leg is twisted around 180 degrees so that he hobbles. I've seen him there for 2 years now, ever since he tried to frantically climb my leg to get to a sandwich. He hangs out near the lifeguard station.
Then there's the chickens. What a freaky looking thing on it's face.
These birds are cool. I think this one is nest building.
