Kualoa Camping
I love camping at this park. Aside from the drunken crazies that always end up in a fight friday night (when the guard is sometimes not there) it's usually a blast. I've learned how to use "the structure" to block the wind pretty well, and the water now passes inspection (sewer leakage taken care of somewhat), so it's car-camping at it's best. Jesse would be happy - Liz and I got DnA, David's brother n girlfriend, and Cassie all hooked on Settlers. It's addictive. Those who enjoy this type of thing should be amused to know that they've made settlers of canaan and zarahemla for the old testament and book of mormon. Basically you just have to settle an island then expand and consume as many resource cards as possible, and the one to grow quickest wins. Sound like our culture? The whole weekend was awesome. I'm so overloaded with timelapse processing, I don't know what to do....... Here's some of the better shots.

Have I told you how much I love your new SLR? You take such pretty pics.. =)!
i think you tell me after you scruch about me not giving you enough attention!! ;) i know. but, this camera is so damn good!!! the colors and sharpness is just incredible.
Dude those are some good pics! WOW! You are really gettin good. So are any of these post production, or just settings and optics? How are you getting those clouds so damn well!?!
i am starting to do a little touchup, but it's usually not much. the bulk of the "goodness" comes from just the optics and the camera. with a lot of the night shots, i just made them a little brighter, and with the cloud pics, i increased the contrast/gamma a bit. i do have my camera set with the contrast and sharpness high and the saturation medium. i do all the other settings manually. i've found that over-exposing a little bit helps if you do post-produc cause dark bits get grainy if you don't. i think the hugest thing is though - that's how it really looks. this place is really pretty.
