Grand Canyon Tower
Heather and I spent the morning getting proposals n papers done at the house. Sonnett and Caitlin took off, then Heather and I headed up to the Grand Canyon. Sweet. I'd never been there and it was the perfect time of year. Nice during the day, cold at night, and totally *UN*-crowded. We had the 200-site campground split among 10 people! Sweet. The drive was very pretty - who knew that Arizona had a large volcanic country in the north? (Sunset Crater and SF volcanic field). It looked a lot like the Big Island. There was a funny sign on the reservation advertising jewlery - "Nice Indians Behind You"...
On the East Rim, there was a cool old tower. The birds were awesome.
