Giving a Talk

Today was my "Intro to Astro" talk as part of AbGradCon. I think it went ok given 3 hours of sleep.... Jesse came along and got to hassle everybody with questions. His experience sparked some good conversation about engineering vs scientific perspectives. Scientists only care about answering the question "why" whereas engineers will actually worry about whether it matters in the next century or not.





We drove up to Oakland so Inge could see her friend and on the way back, we stopped in La Honda (think merry pranksters) to stop at a bar where Matt was playing with "the farm".
