A working camera???

It's been a very long 20 months since the science camera on the spectrograph broke. Finally, today, Gerry managed to finish some kind of repair and get one spare into the dewar. Now I can finally start doing my thesis.

Here's a half-million dollars dead and broken, lying on the table......
Here's what the inside of your digital camera might look like if you ever got curious enough to break it open and look at the "digital-film" - the long black rectangle is the light sensitive part.
The red octagon is the actual camera and the rest is just cooling and vacuum gear.
Say cheeze.
