NIR Milky Way
This last few days turned in to a somewhat random observing run. I got to sneak away for an hour in between twilight calibrations and some AEOS time to take a quick picture of the milky way with no moonlight in the NIR.... 40 minute exposure, 24mm f/2.8. Not bad.


And a 30min 50mm f/1.2 shot with the pentax, just because.....

You took the top two in NIR? Using what filter? Hoya R72? Something Simliar?
