atmospheric optics

i've been geeked out on optics & atmospheres for a while. i've found an awesome site. atmospheric optics there are some really cool things like halo's and stratospheric ice clouds that do some really neat optical things. i thought i'd put up this pic from the website of ice halo's from small crystals near the ground at the south pole.
