Heather and I took a pre-work hike on Wa'ahila ridge. This one marks the eastern side of Manoa valley. I've never actually hiked this part of the ridge before. It was really nice....
Not quite sure about Winona... Mabye. I'd have to say it's a partial at best kind of thing. Everybody is different under different lighting. I just spent a day going through my 2005 pictures in an effort to "redo" my pictures site. It was fun to see long hair young hippie Jesse..... Can't wait to dive in to 2004...
As for the publications, I'm not really shooting for any specific number. I'd like to keep the 1-2 per year average up. Means you're doing interesting science. I think I've got the next couple in mind already anyways so that's a good thing. Who knows about faculty though. I'd take "project scientist" for the Planets Telescope if we can get it funded....

Does Heather kinda look like Winona Rider, or is that just the angle/lighting? First NIR pic from the back of the valley is very good Dave.
Oh and whats your publication goal for when you start looking for faculty jobs?
