A Fishbowl Day

I headed down to the fishbowl with Judy to go snorkel around. What an awesome place. The view upcountry was fantastic with the winds whipping around Ulupalakua and making the clouds in a matching line. Did y'all know that boy turtles have really long tails and girls don't. And, ants decended from wasps, and ants are a huge fraction of the worlds biomass:

"Ants are arguably the greatest success story in the history of terrestrial metazoa. On average, ants monopolize 15-20% of the terrestrial animal biomass, and in tropical regions where ants are especially abundant, they monopolize 25% or more." Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America: In search of ant ancestors http://www.pnas.org/cgi/content/full/97/26/14028

Judy is an encyclopedia of knowledge....
