Driving to Colorado

On the way to Grand Junction, we decided to take Liz + Bri through Yosemite because they've never seen it before. A big storm was moving through and made for some very interesting clouds and colors. I've never seen Yosemite have this kind of feel to it. The clouds were hanging out half way up the rock face. It made them look even bigger. I really want to camp out there for a year if I can......

We were unlucky from the storm - there was ice on Taioga pass so we had to go around the Sierra, through Tahoe. It added a lot of time to the drive. We listened to some Alan Watts + an audio book (guns, germs & steel) that made for good conversation until the coffee didn't work any more around 4am. It was pretty fun to do.

The pass near Tahoe on the way to Grand Junction, near midnight......
